Weekly Log Oct 28- Nov 3

During the week, Cassidy was able to get the 3D part printed for the test robot. With this part, we will be able to rewire the test robot and begin working on the code for navigation. We sent orthogonal pictures of our wheelchair motors and sent them to Matthew. He has a program that will read the dimensions based off the ruler in the photo. During our meeting with Matthew, we now have a better plan for how the base will be designed and a better timeline for the project.

In our meeting with Dr. Rios, we found out that the robotics lab has wheels that we may be able to use for our base. In setting up a time to see these wheels and decide whether or not they will work, we will be able to see and make sure we have all the sensors required for our project. It is decided that our project will be front wheel drive instead of rear wheel drive.
