Once again, the meeting with Matthew was cancelled because he could not make it. We were able to speak on the phone and this will work in place of the meeting for this week. He made a list of requirements for the base and that will be a rubric for him to be graded on for this project. We need to get the approximate measurements of all of our electronics to get to Matthew so he can develop the enclosed compartment for the electronics to go in. Hopefully next week, Matthew will get to actually see the motors in person and the beginning drafts for the base can be started.

We met with Dr. Rios on thursday afternoon. We made some decisions on what materials will be used for the base of the robot. We will be making a motor controller for this project, but we won’t work on it until next semester. We will be using a commercial motor driver on the robot until we complete our own motor driver. Cassidy will be meeting with Colin next week to 3D print the base needed for the Arduino on the test robot.
