Cassidy and I received the CEIT undergraduate award for $2000 from AGCO. We have meet with Dr. Rios have have decided to have front wheel drive instead of rear wheel drive. Since we have this grant, we will be able to buy better wheels that will work in various terrains. We will need to size wheels this upcoming week. Dr. Rios also ordered SHARP IR Range Sensors and a SWEEP V1 360° Laser Scanner for our project.

We met with Matthew today and saw a rough draft for the first iteration of the base design. Since we decided to do front wheel drive, he needs to alter the design slightly. He scanned the motors into a 3-D software to get the proper dimensions for them. By removing the manual levers on the motors, Matthew was able to find the part number for the motors. This will be helpful for us to find more information on them.
