Weekly Log Jan 17-23

We are still working on correcting our parts and re-ordering the correct parts. We hope to

correct these errors and move on to the assembly of the cart base this week. The graduate

student working on the fabrication of the cart has started to cut out the parts to fit the

specifications.

We received several parts from Dr. Rios this week for our project. We have 2 infrared

sensors, a pixy camera, a pan/tilt mechanism kit for the camera, and a motor controller. We

have assembled the pan/tilt kit for the Pixy camera, We have begun working on a basic color

detection code to test and learn the Pixy, We found the user manual for the RoboteQ Ax2550 motor controller so we can understand what it is capable of and how to use it for this project. We hope to correct these errors and move on to the assembly of the cart base this week
